Pass Plus is run by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and is specially designed for newly qualified drivers
Pass Plus was created by the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. Pass Plus aims to build on the skills and knowledge of a new driver and teach you to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards helping you to be more confident on the roads and to become a safer driver.
Pass Plus consists of 6 modules including:
- Driving in town
- Driving in adverse conditions
- Driving on rural roads
- Driving at night
- Driving on dual carriageways
- Driving on motorways
Taking a Pass Plus course not only will improve your driving skills but can also lower your car insurance up to 50%
NO test or exam to take. On completion of the course you will receive a certificate which can then be presented to your insurers for a substantial discount. Visit the DSA's Pass Plus website for a list of participating insurance companies.
